Learn more about Black Rock – a Two Kettle Chief
Black Rock was an important leader of the “Two Kettles” band of Lakota. He was originally portrayed in a painting by the famed Western ethnographer, George Catlin.
I recreated this image for my 2010 one-man show, Portraits of Honor.
You can read about my research of Black Rock and see the original Catlin painting here: About Chief Black Rock.
